Early Intervention

THIS SITE IS UNDER

 CONSTRUCTION!

Early Intervention Programs are designed to intervene at the earliest signs of trouble among youth. These programs are immediate sanctions that divert youth from engaging in activities that are illegal and/or otherwise harmful to themselves and their communities. They can take the form of cognitive behavioral treatment, conflict resolution and interpersonal skills, family therapy, alcohol/drug treatment and counseling, teen/youth courts, restorative justice, and wraparound services.

Below is a list of early intervention services in Bay Point. Please contact each organization directly for more information:

The Center for Human Development provides anger management and drug/alcohol education through the Four Corners Program.

The Four Corners Program is structured for both youth and adults to improve upon their everyday behavior and beliefs regarding anger, violence, drugs, and gangs.

The prevention specialists with the Center for Human Development understand youth and their families. They know that growing up in today’s world is full of pressures for young people. Recent research has demonstrated that young people need many things in order to confidently face life and to overcome the tough situations that they may encounter on their journey to adulthood.

Four Corners staff are parents themselves. They know that most parents find raising children is an extremely challenging task.
